OUR MISSION AND VISION
During the past two decades, The Lean Six Sigma Company has grown from a local Lean Six Sigma training provider in The Netherlands to an international organization of Lean Six Sigma experts with a presence in over 40 countries. Together with our local offices, we deliver a range of services to both organizations and individuals.
To better understand what drives us and what we are ultimately striving to become, we have detailed our guiding principles and aspirations below.
Our vision is to set the international Lean Six Sigma quality standard
Achieving excellence is a journey. As early adopters and long-time providers of high-end Lean Six Sigma services, we have been at the forefront to embrace trends and advancements in the field of continuous improvement since the start of our journey, which began over 20 years ago.
We recognize that what worked yesterday may not necessarily work today, and we are committed to staying ahead of the curve. Staying critical of our own performance, quality, and training content is vital in this effort; our services reflect this effort.
Lean Six Sigma’s core principles of eliminating waste, reducing defects, and improving efficiency are applicable across all industries and have proven to be effective in driving sustainable improvements since its conception. We have dedicated ourselves to Lean Six Sigma because we value that it is people-centric and resistant to irrelevancy.
Lean Six Sigma programs evolve constantly to suit the needs of an ever-changing business landscape, this is one of the things that keeps it relevant. As experts and training providers, we carry the responsibility of staying informed of the latest trends and guiding the methodology to develop in the right direction.
By frequently updating our curriculum and fine-tuning our training content, we help practitioners stay just as future-ready as Lean Six Sigma’s inherent principles. As a result, we steer organizations toward the most effective implementation of continuous improvement currently possible.
We know that structured process improvement according to Lean Six Sigma’s principles will always be essential to maintain a competitive advantage. By actively contributing to the development of our chosen methodology, we build towards a future where Lean Six Sigma is synonymous with continuous improvement.
Our mission is to help individuals and
organizations to excel in their businesses by providing accessible, high-quality, and globably standardized Lean Six Sigma courses and services.
At The Lean Six Sigma Company, we have sought the international stage for a reason: to achieve for Lean Six Sigma what Ford achieved for manufacturing.
While the invention and usage of the conveyor belt in Ford’s factories is often labeled their most significant achievement, historians know that it was the implementation of interchangeable parts – which could be used on any model of their automobiles – that truly made the most noticeable impact.
Our aim is to create something similar: a globally interchangeable Lean Six Sigma skillset through which we set a unifying standard. This allows practitioners to apply their skills seamlessly across the globe and enables companies to benefit from proven quality.
Employees can apply their continuous improvement skills wherever there is a need. We believe this interchangeable set of skills is a key factor in maintaining a truly competitive edge as globalization reaches new frontiers.
Additionally, we want our certificate to hold the same value anywhere on the planet. This is not just what we desire, but what our customers value the most: skillsets that overcome borders, validated by our certificate.
With the help of our services, organizations ensure that their workforce is trained consistently, regardless of location. The end-goal of an internationally recognized skillset is that it facilitates the sharing, comparison, and re-use of policies, strategies, and even KPI’s. A shared standard enables continuous improvement and provides a valuable source of advice.
To achieve this global cohesion, we offer practical and result-oriented training materials and services. Additionally, we go the extra mile by having our materials accredited by third parties, ensuring they are not only applicable in real-world scenarios but also grounded in sound theory and scientific principles.
Our approach to training is centered around
empowerement through hands-on experience.
While we provide many services to organizations, a significant part of our work is dedicated to training individuals. Our approach to training on this level is centered around empowerment through hands-on experience. We seek to combine knowledge transfers with practical experience starting from day one.
We start by equipping participants with all the essential tools, methods, and insights needed to carry the continuous improvement torch without assistance. Attending one of our trainings is synonymous with having the right toolbox for the job.
We can make this claim with confidence because we seek audits by external agencies and parties, such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), to validate the quality of our curriculum and body of knowledge. External validation proves to our customers that our training content meets even the highest standards. As an added benefit, it guides us along the path of quality.
At The Lean Six Sigma Company, we strongly believe that Lean Six Sigma holds the answer to almost any improvement challenge as long as participants know how to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Therefore, project discussions with our trainers and hands-on learning are included in all of our trainings.
Our aim is to create a globally interchangeable
Lean Six Sigma skillset through which we set a
unifying standard.
At The Lean Six Sigma Company, we emphasize third-party accreditations, specifically ISO accreditations, because they provide independent and unbiased validation of our quality. Additionally, they provide proof of adherence to international training material standards.
The result of these accreditations allows us to make a simple but significant claim: that our certificates hold significant value for their owners.
Our ISO13053 and ISO18404 accreditations signify that we undergo a regular, rigorous evaluation process and that we have been recognized repeatedly by an accrediting organization as meeting the necessary criteria.
We let this serve as undeniable proof that we have the authority to certify individuals and that our training programs are deemed reliable and of high quality. Additionally, we are constantly seeking ways to expand our proof of quality, exemplified by our latest ISO21001 accreditation.
Similar to continuous improvement, this evaluation is cyclical. Through these regular audits, we stay critical of our organizational performance. They help us assess whether we are truly fulfilling our mission, and whether we are delivering that which we promise to our customers.
Every trainer employed by us has undergone additional training and passed our trainer exams before being allowed to host training sessions.
Personal development is part of their job, to ensure our students enjoy the best learning experience. One of the ways we achieve this development is by making the most of our network.
Because of our international focus and worldwide presence, we employ a diverse range of Lean Six Sigma professionals. Operating on this level allows for culturally-sensitive knowledge exchanges and the sharing of trends, news, and developments happening across the globe. We continuously learn from each other, leveraging diverse perspectives to improve our services for you.
Our trainers possess a deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma within various contexts. As they systematically share information, our trainers can provide unique insights during their training sessions and project coaching. These insights enable our training participants to utilize their skills with confidence at remote sites.
Before we allow a trainer to represent us, we ensure they possess a broad and educated perspective on Lean Six Sigma. This expertise enables us to tailor our training agendas to include specific cultural nuances and ensure relevance.
While individuals benefit from our international trainer network, so do organizations. Our collaborations provide valuable insights into business cases and company nuances in different countries and contexts. This prepares our practitioners for international workshops, coaching, and projects, which fosters effective teamwork and collaboration.
By being part of our network, individuals and organizations gain a competitive advantage without additional effort.
