After graduating as a Mechanical Engineer in 2013, David worked as a project manager for a couple of years. During this time, he transitioned to IT project management and was introduced to Scrum by one of his former managers.
Scrum resonated with David because it involves working in short cycles to gather as much feedback as possible from customers, adapt, and continuously improve. This approach made even more sense to him when he began his Lean Six Sigma journey. Lean and Agile are both mindsets with much in common, and now David works in both fields, enjoying sharing insights about their connections.
LEAN SIX SIGMA TRENDS
The Lean Six Sigma Company will participate in the upcoming event for several compelling reasons. In the context of current global affairs, which significantly impact organizational strategies, there is a heightened necessity to maintain the delivery of value to customers, patients, and civilians. These influences manifest as both positive drivers and potential threats to existing business models. As an institute that champions quality and exceptional service as fundamental to organizational success, we assert that the application of Lean Six Sigma is more crucial now than ever.
Encouragingly, numerous developments bolster the implementation of Lean Six Sigma. Consider, for instance, the enhanced accessibility of data and the potential to generate insightful management information through Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, challenges in supply chain management can be effectively addressed by employing Lean Management principles, originated in Japan. In an era where escalating material costs pose unique challenges, the principles of maintaining low stocks and streamlining processes contribute significantly to improved cash flow.
These factors provide ample reason to explore the potential of Lean Six Sigma. However, initiating this journey can seem daunting. To demystify this process, we will attend the EOQ event, where our experts are prepared to answer all your questions and assist in accelerating your integration with Lean Six Sigma. Besides hosting a booth at the event, we will also feature speakers on the main stage, who will share insights on the dos and don’ts in your pursuit of becoming a Continuous Improvement-driven organization.
